THE HUMAN SCALE

Written & Performed by Pulitzer Prize Winner LAWRENCE WRIGHT
Directed by Public Theater Artistic Director OSKAR EUSTIS

OCTOBER 2 - OCTOBER 31

How do you measure the value of a life?

Following up on his essay "Captives" published in the November 9, 2009 issue of The New Yorker, Pulitzer Prize Winner Lawrence Wright performs his newest piece, THE HUMAN SCALE, an unsparing and graphic exploration of the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Wright's last play, My Trip to Al-Qaeda, premiered at The New Yorker Festival in 2006, and then enjoyed a sold-out run at The Culture Project.

My Trip to Al-Qaeda has been made into a documentary film, directed by Alex Gibney who won the 2008 Academy Award for Feature Documentary, which will premiere on HBO on September 7. The New York Times names it "an utterly compelling personal history lesson."

THE HUMAN SCALE will be performed at 3LD ART AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER, 80 Greenwich St.

DIRECTIONS BY SUBWAY: 1 or R train to Rector Street Station or 4, 5 to Wall Street Station.

DIRECTIONS BY BUS: M5 to Broadway & Rector Street.

NEARBY PARKING GARAGES: Central Parking System garage at 70 Greenwich St. 212-475-1065 or Quik Park Garage 70 West St. (212) 349-8316
