Yvonne Wilson is a young and ambitious black newspaper reporter, who claims to have evidence that a teenaged girl has committed a murder. Going against the wishes of her editor Pat, who wants her section to reflect positive images of the African-American community, Yvonne pursues the story. However, Yvonne’s ambition may undo her reputation, and the newspaper’s, as questions of truth, bias, and morality are raised about her big story and how she came by it.
This production received a Lucille Lortel Award nomination for Outstanding Sound Design.
