The Public is thrilled to provide a new home for the fifth year of Summer Play Festival!

“The Summer Play Festival is a wonderful and inspiring institution,” says Artistic Director Oskar Eustis. “It shares our core values and in a short five years has become an integral part of The New York theater scene.

Since its inception in 2004, SPF has produced approximately 450 performances and has provided an opportunity for over 100 writers, directors, designers and producers to present their material and craft in a protected environment, guided by established professionals, with full financial support.
