Public Shakespeare Talks:
SHAKESPEARE WORKS

Monday, April 23 at 7pm

Martinson Hall

Member pricing is $15
Full pricing is $20 plus fees

The Public Shakespeare Initiative opens up its Shakespeare Works artist development program to audiences with a panel discussion featuring director Carl Cofield, artistic advisor Jay O. Sanders, voice advisor Julie Congress, scholar Patricia Akhimie, and actors Michael Genet, Bhavesh Patel, Flor De Liz Perez, Reynaldo Piniella, Benja K. Thomas, and Natalie Woolams-Torres. This group of artists and thinkers will have recently participated in a one-week residency on Twelfth Night. Residencies provide participants with study materials, rehearsal space, and access to academic, artistic, and voice and text advisors as the group delves deeply into a single Shakespeare text. They are designed to give participants the opportunity to learn, experiment, and explore Shakespeare’s plays free from the pressures and constraints of production.
