CHEESE ON BREAD
"The One Who Wanted More" Album Release Party
Hosted by Cole Escola, featuring guests Molly Pope & Michael R. Jackson
Cheese On Bread is a queer indie-pop band known for bouncy live shows, childlike vocals, unlikely arrangements and an uneasy tension between silly and serious. Formed in 2002 by playwright Dan Fishback and musician Sara Kelly, the band played in NYC's anti-folk scene and around the world, released two albums (2004's Maybe Maybe Maybe Baby and 2007's The Search for Colonel Mustard) and inspired Next Magazine to say, "What 'Ugly Betty' is to television, Cheese On Bread is to music," before going on an extended hiatus. Ten years later, the band has reunited to release its third album, The One Who Wanted More.
