Todd Almond

Joe's Pub

March 26

Doors at 6PM
Show at 7PM

Hailed by Rolling Stone as “Awesome” and by The New Yorker as a writer of “Brilliant lyrics and music,” Todd Almond returns to Joe’s Pub with his singular style for an intimate concert with Todd at the piano singing new songs, excerpts from Melancholy Play, and a few surprises up his sleeve.

Almond has made his mark on the theater world with his three Public Works shows for the Public Theater (TEMPEST, WINTER’S TALE, and ODYSSEY) in which he also starred, his beloved musical GIRLFRIEND, his chamber musical MELANCHOLY PLAY with Sarah Ruhl, and his iconic KANSAS CITY CHOIR BOY co-starring Courtney Love.  He’s written for and recorded with Laura Benanti, Sherie Rene Scott, Andrew Rannells, Judy Kuhn, and recently collaborated with Kelli O’Hara on her Carnegie Hall debut.
