Quarantined Quartet is a Brooklyn based family guitar ensemble blending flamenco, classical, rock, jazz, pop, Latin, and original music into a dynamic live performance experience. Founded in 2020 by professional guitarists Jason and Elysa Hochman, co founders of the New York Guitar Academy and flamenco duo Jay & Lee Rumba Flamenca, the group grew to include their sons Joseph and Noah, both students at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
What began as nightly music making during lockdown evolved into a global online phenomenon, earning the group residencies at Tavern on the Green, sold out Candlelight Concerts, national television appearances on Good Morning America and The Kelly Clarkson Show, and collaborations with the Gipsy Kings and Gloria Gaynor. With over 2.9 million followers across social media, Quarantined Quartet brings to Joe’s Pub an unforgettable evening of four guitars, one family, and music that crosses generations and genres.
