Health & Safety Policy Update

We are excited to welcome you back to The Delacorte Theater for our 60th Anniversary Season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. We ask that you read and understand the following when accessing tickets.

  • Effective April 19, 2022, The Public requires proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination to enter The Delacorte and attend performances. This policy will continue until further notice.
  • Complete vaccination is fourteen days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
  • We will accept proof of vaccination via Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe Pass, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination card, and/or a copy or photo of an official immunization record from outside the United States.
  • Face masks are encouraged, but not required while attending performances at The Delacorte.
  • Public Theater staff and artists are subject to a mandatory vaccination and booster policy.
  • All policies are subject to change at The Public’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • Those that do not abide by any health and safety protocols will be denied entry or removed from the facility.

Returning to Joe's Pub after a critically-successful run at the 2023 Under the Radar Festival and a subsequent national tour in the 2023-2024 season, Migguel Anggelo’s LatinXOXO is much more than the alluring comparisons to Hedwig and the Angry Inch. It is an uncompromising, nonconforming and self-accepting rallying cry; it is a conscious tease of "Latin Lover” clichés employed to challenge his father's "machista" rejection. This highly personal story is told through a collage of theater, comedy, movement, and sumptuous song selections -- a sing-along to favorite tunes that span the decades, from artists like Vicente Fernandez, Simon Diaz, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Migguel Anggelo himself. Regresando a Joe's Pub después de su exitosa presentación en el Festival Under the Radar de 2023 y seguido de una gira nacional durante 2023-2024, LatinXoxo de Migguel Anggelo es mucho más que las seductoras comparaciones con Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Es un grito de resistencia intransigente y autoaceptación; es la provocativa burla de los clichés de "Latin Lover" utilizados para desafiar el rechazo "machista" de su padre.
